reFRESH Food Market

In partnership with Cowichan Lake Country Grocer, we offer a weekly fresh food market on Wednesdays at 1:00pm. Everyone is welcome! This is a food recovery program, whereby fresh food that would have otherwise gone to the landfill is offered free-of-charge. We also receive donations from other food establishments in our community, such as pastries, fresh produce, and frozen meals. Take what you need but remember others!

Order of service is determined by raffle; please bring your own bags.

Community Luncheon

Funded through our Reaching Home Program, and with the help of our community volunteers, we are able to offer a light meal, twice each week. Left overs are frozen and stored at our office, if you are in need and unable to attend during these hours.

Christmas Hampers

Our annual Christmas Hamper offer local community members a little support over the holidays. Registration starts in December and is based on need. Sign up to our newsletter for future updates.

Good Food Box

A convenient and affordable way for everyone in our community to enjoy a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Each box is filled with seasonal produce and designed to help bring healthy food to tables through the Cowichan Lake area. Boxes are offered bi-weekly and must be ordered in advance ($25/box). Please call our office or visit us in-person to order your box; updates are also posted regularly on our social media.
