Twice Weekly
[Re]Fresh Food Market
In partnership with Cowichan Green Community, we offer a twice weekly fresh food market on Mondays and Wednesdays at approximately 11:00am (dependent on delivery). Everyone is welcome! This is a food recovery program, whereby fresh food that would have otherwise gone to the landfill is offered free-of-charge. Take what you need but remember others!
Order of service is determined by raffle, and priority is given to those 65+ on Mondays. Please bring your own bags.
Community Soup Kitchen
Funded through our Reaching Home Program, and with the help of our community volunteers we are able to offer a warm meal twice a week for those in need. With many thanks to the Lake Cowichan Christian Fellowship for opening their doors, and providing a warming site where we will be housing the soup kitchen during the colder months. Left overs are frozen and stored at the community services building if you are in need and unable to attend during these hours

Christmas Hampers
Our annual Christmas Hamper offer local community members a little support over the holidays. Registration starts in December and is based on need. Sign up to our newsletter for future updates.
