This is a fun and supportive group for children aged 7 to 11. We combine recreation and creativity and focus on strengthening life skills, social skills, building healthy relationships and fostering friendships. Referrals for participation in this group must be facilitated through one of the counsellors. Amanda, Brandon and Darlene co-facilitate this program.
Offered at the Elementary schools, this program is designed to enhance behaviour and social skills, build tools for conflict resolution, and promote access to supports.
‘Silver Linings’ offers a safe and supportive group environment for children to learn coping skills and build self-esteem as they work through grief, separation, and parental divorce. ‘Constellations’ is a program that may be offered as an individual or group family workshop. This program supports families emotionally as they manage through transitions involved in separation and divorce.
