Easy to implement, proven parenting skills help with problem solving and provides preventative supports. Parenting groups are available for parents of children 2 – 12 and parents of teens, as well as individual sessions and information sharing. Contact Community Services if you are interested.

This is a supportive and educational group for mothers who may be experiencing postpartum depression and/or anxiety. Come and join others who share these feelings; this is a great opportunity to learn coping strategies and support one another. Childcare is provided, and there is no cost for this group. Meet together on Wednesday mornings from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The group may not be meeting regularly during summer months; please call ahead. Amanda facilitates this group.
‘Silver Linings’ offers a safe and supportive group environment for children to learn coping skills and build self-esteem as they work through grief, separation, and parental divorce. ‘Constellations’ is a program that may be offered as an individual or group family workshop. This program supports families emotionally as they manage through transitions involved in separation and divorce.

Bored? Want to have fun and create great memories with your family? Come to this group and find others to share ideas, and generate more things to do! Once per month gathering for planning.
Family Development Workshops
Families who have been involved with the Ministry of Children and Families or those who would enjoy some extra support are invited to attend these two-day workshops. Included are a number of activities and games that encourage communication, relationship building, skill development and fun!
Parents and their 0-5 year olds are welcome to this drop-in Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 am. There is a mix of great socialization for children, building support networks and relationships for parents, as well as enhancing resources for families. Learn to have fun together and reduce stress. Amanda facilitates this program. There is no cost.
This drop-in group runs from September to June, with a break in the summer.
