Our mission is to enhance and support the quality of life for Cowichan Lake area residents. We will strive to do this through education, prevention, recreation, counselling and support groups. It is also our aim to work together with other service agencies in an integrated approach.

A supportive activity based group for women to connect with each other and bring a sense of joy into life. If you are living with anxiety or depression this is a great way to shift your experience.

Assertiveness training teaches individuals to communicate with others in a way which is direct, honest, and tactful. The training includes topics such as: Communication strategies, self esteem, and regulating emotions. The group runs for 5 weeks.

A variety of group workshops are available through Community Services. These include self-esteem, anxiety, mood management, disordered eating, motivation. Workshops are 4 or 5 sessions each. Read about these workshops and contact us if you are interested in these or other topics.
